Since 2011, Greenpop’s biggest tree-planting event of the year has always been the Reforest Fest! By facilitating attendees to plant between 5,000 and 10,000 indigenous trees each year, this event contributes towards Greenpop’s Uilenkraal Forest Restoration Project which aims to restore degraded forest patches at the Platbos Forest Reserve and Bodhi Khaya Nature Retreat. So far, the project has planted over 150,000 trees, restoring forest habitat and furthermore helping to preserve and expand a forest that is home to many incredible, often endangered, species, such as our elusive apex predator, the Cape Leopard. Other creatures that make use of the indigenous forests for their survival include Bushbuck, Large-spotted Genet, and baboons.

**Please take note that this is a family-friendly festival. Minors (U18s) must attend with a parent or guardian. We encourage you to bring the whole family! Tickets for Children between the ages of 4 – 12 are R390. Children under 4 attend free of charge.

Sunday Harvest Feast
Join Chef Bridget Bartleman from Kolossal Hospitality in celebrating the Overberg and the forests we preserve, for an array of locally sourced harvest indulgence of predominantly planted-based dishes, with options of local cheese and honey.
Bodhi Khaya Nature Retreat
The 2024 event is being held at Bodhi Khaya Nature Retreat, which is located only 2.5 hours from Cape Town, nearby Gansbaai and Stanford. The stunning surroundings of Bodhi Khaya Nature Retreat welcome explorers to its milkwood forests and fynbos trails, in addition to beautiful on-site accommodations.
This will be the third Reforest Fest to be held at this venue, which is also an ongoing Forests for Life Reforestation Partner of Greenpop.

EASY CAMP TENT
This pre-erected tent sleeps two people for three nights. We set it up for you so that you can simply show up and join the festivities! Ticket includes: One 2.2×2.2m standard nylon tent, two camping mattresses with mattress covers, and two pillows with pillow covers. Blankets or sleeping bags are NOT included – please remember to bring your own! Check out time: 1 April at 10am NB- festival ticket not included.
Easy Camp – 2 Person Tent – R1300
CAMP & PARK
This ticket allows you to park alongside your tent, or camp in your vehicle/camper van/rooftop tent in a designated camp and park area. Each Camper Van tickets gets you a +-4 x 7m space and allows one vehicle. Festival ticket not included.
