Testimonials

“The challenge helped me see how even small actions like starting a home garden can support biodiversity. It made me more aware of how everyday spaces like backyards can create real ecological impact.”

“I found the structure of the action cards very helpful; it encouraged me to think critically about biodiversity from different angles and made it easier to identify a path I could contribute to, especially as someone with an interest in governance and policy.”

“What I found most beneficial and impactful in this challenge was how it connected knowledge with action. Learning about biodiversity loss globally and then narrowing it down to what’s happening in our own communities made it personal and urgent.”

“I also really appreciated the collaborative aspect, like connecting with other young people and organisations through WESSA and the WhatsApp group. It reminded me that I’m not alone in this. we’re a movement.”
